The beginners course covers the basic salsa steps, such as the mumbo, cucaracha (side step) and the salsa step. The course also covers the basic turns, which are, the right turn (both gentleman's and lady's), the open-break turn (enchufla), the left turn (both gentleman's and lady's), and the crossbody lead and crossbody lead with pivot turn. It takes about 8-12 classes to cover all the basics. |
