What can I expect in a salsa lesson? |

A salsa lesson begins with the class in a line-up formation behind the instructor to learn the footwork of the basic steps. Then people are asked to take their partners to practice the basic steps as a couple. During the class people dance with different partners. This is for a few reasons; to meet new people and socially mix with the class; to help each other learn the move; keep repetition more interesting; and dance with people who do not have partners. With a Salsa Fun lesson the emphasis is on enjoying yourself - have a drink, enjoy the music, enjoy the dancing, meet new people and generally have a fun time.
